Our Thursday jam is a bunch of like-minded people who enjoy sharing music. All kinds of music are acceptable – although we tend to cluster at the folky end of the spectrum – and all skill levels.
The character of any given evening is determined by who shows up. Some people do instrumentals, some do a cappella songs, and most of us do everything in between; we all try to fit in somehow, or listen if that doesn’t work.
Regulars tend to be people who are flexible and like all kinds of music. The jam has been going for over 30 years, at many different locations; we meet at people’s homes, depending on who wants to host that week.
